In the peaceful hills of Uttarakhand, a special cultural celebration has begun: the Sparsh Himalaya Mahotsav 2025.The event is bringing together thinkers, spiritual leaders, scholars, and cultural icons to honour the spirit of the Himalayas, Indian heritage, and global harmony.
The festival opened with great enthusiasm as many well-known personalities gathered to take part in the celebrations. Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of Minority Affairs, attended the programme and later took to his social media to applaud it.

Former President of Mauritius Prithvirajsing Roopun attended the event highlighting the deep cultural ties between India and Mauritius.
Spiritual leader Paramhans Acharya Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj, a respected head of Juna Akhada, also graced the gathering.
Former Union Education Minister and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ joined the celebration as well.
The event also saw the presence of well-known environmentalist Padma Bhushan Dr.Anil Joshi, Patanjali University Vice-Chancellor and Patanjali Ayurveda MD Acharya Balkrishna, and Chairman of NBA and NAAC Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe.Guests from other countries, including Member of Parliament Somveer from Bali, Indonesia, attended too, giving the event a global cultural flavour.Vidushi Nishank, director of Lekhak Gaon (Writer’s Village), was also part of the gathering.
The atmosphere at the venue was filled with cultural performances, traditional music, and discussions on nature, spirituality, and human values.
