Union Minister for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju inaugurated 'Lok Samvardhan Parv' in New Delhi on Thursday.
''Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju will hold a meeting with the floor leaders of political parties in both the Houses of the Parliament, ahead of the Budget Session of Parliament,'' the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs said on Tuesday.
Chairman-CEC, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, Tashi Gyalson, Advisor to Lt Governor, UT Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal and Vice Chancellor Prof Rajesh Ranjan were among those present on the occasion.
For the first three days of the session from 24th June, only Lok Sabha will sit for oath and affirmation of its newly elected members. On the third day, on the 26th June, the new Lok Sabha Speaker will be elected.
The 264th Session of Rajya Sabha will commence on June 27, the minister added.
The minister, taking to social media platform X, said a team of IMD scientists quickly investigated and found a 3 degrees C error, while corrective measures are now in place.
