Bad weather forces Rahul to cancel Almora rally, return to Delhi
Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's Almora rally was cancelled on Thursday owing to bad weather conditions in the Kumaon region.
Exhorting people to vote for the Mahagathbandhan, Gandhi said the Grand Alliance guarantees that it will form a government representing every class, caste, and religion in Bihar. “We will not leave anyone behind,” he added.

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi posed a question to the people of Bihar: “Tell me what he has done for education, health, and employment in Bihar in the last 20 years. Do you want a state where you get nothing? We don’t want such a Bihar. We want a Bihar where there is health, education, and employment.”

He added that Nitish Kumar has been running the government for 20 years and calls himself extremely backward, but has failed to deliver on education, health, and employment.
He added that despite his demand in Parliament for a caste census, the Prime Minister remained silent. “The BJP does not commit to social justice; they are against it,” he said.
Gandhi further said, “Look at the back of your phone, it says Made in China. Narendra Modi destroyed small businesses through demonetisation and GST. Wherever you look, it’s Made in China. We say it should be Made in Bihar, mobiles, shirts, pants, all should be made in Bihar, so that our youth get employment. We want such a Bihar.”
