“In the last seven months, we have tried to work for every section of Delhi,” Gupta said. She further mentioned that with Chhath Puja approaching, the ongoing efforts to clean the Yamuna River are a long-standing demand of the Purvanchal community in Delhi.

“Yamuna is being cleaned for Chhath in a way that our brothers from Purvanchal expect from us,” she assured, noting that all necessary arrangements were being put in place to ensure a safe and respectful celebration.

Speaking about Diwali, Gupta added that the national capital is set to witness grand festivities this year.

“All arrangements are made to celebrate Diwali with grandeur. Lakhs of lamps will be lit on Kartavya Path,” she said, pointing to the large-scale lighting events being organised as part of the government’s cultural outreach.
