Hollywood’s favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Tom Holland, faced an unexpected setback while filming his new superhero movie ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. The actor reportedly suffered a mild concussion on set. This has led to a short pause in shooting.
According to reports, the accident happened during filming last week. However, the injury was not serious. But doctors advised Holland to rest as a precaution. The actor will take a few days off before returning to work. No other cast or crew members were injured during the incident.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ officially went into production in early August in Glasgow, Scotland. The movie is already one of the most anticipated superhero films of next year and is going to release worldwide on July 31, 2026.
Just last month, Sony gave fans a sneak peek of Tom Holland back in his Spider-Man costume after a three-year break from the role. The actor last played the character in 2021’s blockbuster hit ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.
In a behind-the-scenes video released by the studio, Holland expressed his excitement about returning to the role for the fourth time.
“It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on ‘Spider-Man’. Putting the suit on feels different this time. It’s also the first time we’ve had fans on set from the very first day, so it feels very special,” he said.
The film will reunite Holland with his long-time co-stars Zendaya, who plays MJ, and Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned. But fans can also expect several new faces joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Sadie Sink from ‘Stranger Things’, Tramell Tillman from ‘Severance’, and ‘The Bear’ star Liza Colon-Zayas are all part of the cast. In addition, Mark Ruffalo will once again appear as Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk. Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as the Punisher, and Michael Mando is back as Scorpion, a villain introduced in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.
Tom Holland recently revealed a fun fact about his superhero gear. In an interview with ‘Esquire’, he said he often gets a fresh Spider-Man suit every couple of weeks during filming.
“I probably get a new suit every two weeks,” he shared. “It definitely feels like that.” The actor however didn’t explain why so many costumes are made.
