Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla called on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday, days after he returned from space. He was accompanied by his Axiom-4 mission crew backup — Group Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair — along with Group Captain Punyashlok Biswal, ISRO Chairman and Department of Space Secretary Dr. V Narayanan, and Human Space Flight Centre Director Dinesh Kumar Singh.
The President’s Office shared the details of the meeting on X, noting that Shukla recounted his experiences in space. “The President extended her best wishes to the entire team for future endeavours, especially for the Gaganyaan Mission,” the post said.
