Leh gets its first public green space at Choglamsar
The Leh city of Ladakh on Monday received its first public green space with the inauguration of the restored and redeveloped Choglamsar Protected Forest, on the banks of the River Indus.
Lt. Governor VK Saxena on Tuesday asked Astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla to regularly interact with youth of Ladakh to motivate them for aiming the sky.
Saxena met Shukla at the Lok Niwas, Ladakh.

Lt. Governor VK Saxena on Tuesday asked Astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla to regularly interact with youth of Ladakh to motivate them for aiming the sky.
Saxena met Shukla at the Lok Niwas, Ladakh. Shukla was in the mission that last year visited the International Space Station.
The LG wrote on X; “Had an engaging and fruitful conversation on his space experience and providing exposure to young students from Ladakh at Indian Space Research Centres at Bengaluru and Trivandrum”.

“Also invited Shukla to keep visiting Ladakh for regular interaction and idea exchange with young minds and motivate them for aiming the sky”.
