Truck rams into car in MP, 4 killed
According to the police, the car occupants were residents of Bhind and were going towards Gwalior. The fatal mishap occurred on the Gwalior-Bhind highway near a roadside eatery at around 8 am.

Four artists, including a stage singer, from Gujarat were killed and a dozen others were injured when their van collided with a truck early morning on Saturday in the Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh.
According to the police, the group of stage artists was returning to Gujarat after performing a Shiv Katha programme at Kashi Vishwanath in Uttar Pradesh.

When the traveller van reached near Surwaya on national highway 27 at around 5.30 AM, it hit the divider and then jumped to the other side of the road. It subsequently collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on that road.

The accident resulted in the death of one person on the spot, while three others succumbed during treatment at a hospital.
The deceased included the musical group’s main singer Hardik Dave (40), who died on the spot.
The other deceased included Ankit Thakur (22), Rajpal Solanki (60), and Raja Thakur (28).
About 12 more persons along with the van driver were injured, some seriously, and were admitted to a hospital for treatment. All the deceased and injured belonged to Surendranagar and Mehsana in Gujarat.
Initial police investigations suggested that the mishap occured, as the traveller van driver dozed off while driving.
