MOIL achieves best-ever November production, sales performance
MOIL recorded 1.65 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT) of manganese ore production in November 2025, showing a 1 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase.

According to the statement released by the Steel Ministry, despite heavy rainfall, MOIL demonstrated strong operational momentum during April-July 2025, with production at 6.47 lakh tonnes, registering 7.8 per cent growth, and sales of 5.01 lakh tonnes, which is 10.7 per cent higher.

Further, it recorded an exploratory drilling of 43,215 meters, which was also up by 11.4 per cent.

In June, India’s largest manganese ore producer continued its robust growth trajectory with the highest-ever production of 1.68 lakh tonnes of manganese ore, marking a 2 per cent increase over the corresponding period last year.
The company also achieved its best-ever Q1 exploratory core drilling of 34,900 metres, which represents a robust 16.2 per cent increase over the same quarter last year.
MOIL is a Miniratna government-owned manganese ore mining company headquartered in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
It has a commanding 50 per cent market share and stands as the largest producer of manganese ore in the country.
Originally incorporated as Manganese Ore (India) Limited on June 22, 1962, the company later, during the financial year 2010-11, changed its name to MOIL Limited.
This June quarter, the company reported a 28.73 per cent decline in total income to Rs 370.53 crore from Rs 519.91 crore during the same period last year.
The company’s net profit for the period declined 66 per cent to Rs 51.51 crore from last year’s Rs 152.35 crore.
Shares of MOIL rose as much as 3.36 per cent to an intraday high of Rs 347.35.
