MOIL achieved manganese ore production of 1.45 lakh tonnes in July 2025, marking an impressive growth of 12 per cent over the corresponding period last year, despite adverse weather conditions.
The production of key minerals such as iron ore, manganese ore, bauxite and lead in the country have recorded a robust growth in financial year 2024-25 after reaching record production levels in FY 2023-24, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Mines
Singh also pointed out that as per the current progress, Steel production in the country is likely to achieve record production of 115 million metric tonnes this year.
