The Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has provided financial assistance of ₹276.74 lakh to 370 Scheduled Caste beneficiaries under various schemes by the end of June in the financial year 2025–26. This includes a subsidy of ₹28.11 lakh.
Sharing the information, Haryana Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi pointed out that the Corporation provides loans under different categories to help members of Scheduled Castes start their own businesses or self-employment ventures. These categories include agriculture and allied sectors, industry, trade and business, and commercial or self-employment. Financial assistance is also extended under schemes supported by the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation.

Sharing further details, he said under the agriculture and allied sectors, loans worth ₹135.72 lakh have been disbursed to 167 beneficiaries for activities such as dairy farming, sheep rearing, and pig rearing. This includes ₹126.49 lakh as bank loans and ₹9.23 lakh as subsidies.
Similarly, in the industrial sector, 13 beneficiaries received ₹6.40 lakh as bank loans and ₹1.20 lakh as subsidies. In the trade and business category, ₹131.12 lakh was provided to 185 beneficiaries, comprising ₹100.83 lakh in bank loans, ₹17.18 lakh in subsidies, and ₹13.11 lakh as margin money.
In the commercial and self-employment category, ₹3.50 lakh was disbursed to five beneficiaries—₹2.65 lakh as bank loans, ₹50,000 as subsidies, and ₹35,000 as margin money.
