The Chief Minister described Rahul Sipligunj as a symbol of Telangana’s spirit and talent, applauding his self-made journey.

This cash prize also serves as a fulfillment of a commitment Revanth Reddy made before becoming CM. While serving as the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president, he had earlier announced ₹10 lakh for Sipligunj during a public event.

At the time, he had also promised that if Congress came to power, the government would honour the singer further.

The song ‘Naatu Naatu’, composed by M.M. Keeravani with lyrics by Chandrabose, became a worldwide phenomenon for its catchy tune, energetic beats, and high-octane choreography by Prem Rakshith.

It has released in multiple Indian languages: Hindi as ‘Naacho Naacho’, Tamil as ‘Naattu Koothu’, Kannada as ‘Halli Naatu’, and Malayalam as ‘Karinthol’, but it is the Telugu original that truly captivated international audiences.

‘RRR’, released in 2022, is an epic action drama in the pre-independence era. It tells a fictionalized story of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr. NTR.

The film also featured Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran in supporting roles.
