The Haryana Government has brought three services of the Secondary Education Department and one service of the Industry and Commerce Department under the ambit of the Right to Service Act, 2014, and has prescribed strict time limits for their delivery.

The Haryana Government has brought three services of the Secondary Education Department and one service of the Industry and Commerce Department under the ambit of the Right to Service Act, 2014, and has prescribed strict time limits for their delivery.

According to a notification issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, permission to open a private school (with or without hostel) up to Class VIII, X or XII has to be given in 15 days from submission of all required documents.

Similarly, recognition to a private school will be granted in 45 days from submission of all required documents. No objection certificate for affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any board other than the Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani, for Classes VIII, X or XII, will be issued in 30 days from submission of all required documents.

Similarly, the Startup Registration Scheme under the Department of Industry and Commerce will now be processed within 40 days of a complete application. Designated officers, along with a First Grievance Redressal Authority and a Second Grievance Redressal Authority, have been appointed to oversee these services in both departments, said an official statement on Wednesday.
