Rihanna opens up about pregnancy and parenting: “I have always wanted a girl”

Rihanna is glowing through her third pregnancy, and while she’s keeping some details private, she did drop a few sweet hints about her growing family.

The Grammy-winning singer and business mogul, already a mom to two boys: RZA, 3, and Riot, 23 months, recently shared that she would love to have a baby girl this time.

Speaking to ‘Extra’, Rihanna was asked if she’s expecting a boy or a girl. With her usual playful charm, she replied, “You have to wait and see. Oh, my gosh, are you guys going to be so hurt if it’s a boy?”

The interviewer admitted they were secretly hoping for a girl. Rihanna, smiling, responded honestly: “I’ve always wanted a girl. God knows best, right? And I love my boys.”

Another fun fact she let slip? The new baby’s name will begin with the letter R, keeping up the family tradition. Her two sons’ names, RZA and Riot, both follow the same pattern, and Rihanna confirmed she’s sticking with it. “I mean, of course. It’s tradition at this point,” she said.

“It’s more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death, and then I’m like, ‘What’s the most comfortable outfit to wear around them? What’s not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can’t hold them properly?’ Moms are lazy dressers in real life.”
