Mayawati said such violence occurs when narrow politics based on religion, region, caste, and language begins to overpower the spirit of patriotism and love for the country.

She made these remarks while reviewing the party’s organizational preparations across seven states, focusing on public issues and support at a meeting held in Lucknow.

During the meeting, she also took stock of the progress made on the assignments given to party officials during the organizational meeting held on March 2.

Appealing to the government, she called for measures to prevent the increasing number of accidents on bridges and expressways in various states, stating that such incidents shake public trust.

“Governments should focus on improving education and healthcare infrastructure, and take effective steps to curb inflation and unemployment in order to ease public hardship and improve the quality of life,” she added.
