MP CM disburses Rs 1,835 crore under Laadli Behna Scheme
The CM transferred the amount by a single click, at a grand Laadli Behna function held at village Mungwani in the Narsinghpur district of the state.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Friday inaugurated an exhibition themed ‘Building Cities of Tomorrow’ at the Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore, as part of the Madhya Pradesh Growth Conclave 2025.
The exhibition showcased various urban development projects being implemented across the state, highlighting robust infrastructure, innovative technologies, investment promotion policies, and developmental schemes.

Key exhibits from the Indore Development Authority included infrastructure models such as the multi-purpose sports park developed under the PPP mode, a convention center near the airport, and the upcoming startup park designed to foster a vibrant startup ecosystem in the city.

The exhibition also emphasized the role of metro rail in the cities of the future. Displays featured the Indore Metro (Yellow Line) and Bhopal Metro (Orange and Blue Lines), along with models of modern, domestically manufactured rolling stock and informative panels focusing on efficient urban mobility solutions.
Five transformative, technology-driven policies were presented: ITES and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy 2023; Global Capability Center (GCC) Policy 2025; Drone Promotion and Utilization Policy 2025; AVGC-XR Policy 2025 (Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality); and Semiconductor Policy 2025.
A special exhibit by the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), Indore, showcased dynamic infrastructure projects and the rapidly evolving IT ecosystem. Highlights included the Indore-Pithampur Economic Corridor, IT Park-3 and IT Park-4 (Super Corridor, Indore), a working women’s hostel, and plug-and-play facilities at the Readymade Garment Complex.
The exhibition also featured innovations from industrial units supporting green growth. These included polycarbonate sheets for natural lighting as a sustainable building material, robotic parking systems to address urban parking challenges, and electric vehicles for waste collection and disposal, promoting clean transportation.
Chief Minister Dr Yadav appreciated the contributions of industrialists engaged in developing these sustainable solutions.
