Ladakh LS seat gears for nail-biting triangular contest on Monday
In a nail biting triangular contest, the cold desert Lok Sabha constituency of Ladakh will go to polls on Monday.
Uttar Pradesh Member of Legislative Council Dr Mahendra Singh is in-charge, while Satish Upadhyay co-in-charge.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Uttar Pradesh Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Dr Mahendra Singh as the in-charge of Lok Sabha polls for Madhya Pradesh and Satish Upadhyay, as the co-in-charge.
BJP National President J P Nadda appointed the in-charge and co-in-charge leaders for 23 States for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Dr Singh has served as the Minister of Water Resources in UP in the past. He was also posted as the in-charge of BJP in Assam between 2014 and 2020.

Dr Singh is an experienced ground level leader and has a good knowledge of electoral politics. He was considered an important figure behind the saffron party’s victory in the 2016 Assam Assembly Elections.
Similarly, Madhya Pradesh’s co-in-charge for Lok Sabha polls, Satish Upadhyay, has served as president and vice president of the BJP’s Delhi unit.
