Jammu and Kashmir: Army’s rescue operation in flood-hit Rajouri saves 11 civilians
Among the 11 rescued persons, five were children. They were stranded at different places in the flood-affected district following incessant rainfall.

Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt, on Friday visited the Tiger Division of Rising Star Corps in the Indian Army where he was briefed about operational preparedness of the troops.
The minister was received by Major Gen Gaurav Gautam, GOC Tiger Division in Jammu. He paid tributes to the bravehearts in a ceremonial wreath laying ceremony at Balidan Stambh.

Later, he interacted with the troops of the Tiger Division and lauded their morale to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and dedication towards duty while safeguarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Nation.
