Zoya Akhtar’s forthcoming film Gully Boy, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is garnering a lot of buzz.
The makers of the film have dropped another song, Mere Gully Mein, which is a remix track of Divine and Naezy’s breakout single by the same name. The song has been sung by Ranveer, DIVINE, and Naezy and is quite engaging.

The two-and-a-half-minute video features Ranveer and Siddhant Chaturvedi as they rap away on the narrow alleys of Mumbai’s Dharavi slums. Ranveer is in a never-seen-before avatar and you really can’t take your eyes off him. In the film, Ranveer plays the role of an underdog rapper who becomes a sensation in the world of hip hop.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film stars Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin. Alia and Ranveer will be sharing the screen for the first time.
Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment — Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film is scheduled to be released on 14 February 2019.
Lalit Modi says he had never met Ranveer Singh before receiving a call saying the actor wanted to see him. Singh then travelled to London and the two met at Modi's residence to discuss the biopic.
FWICE, which represents around 30 lakh cine workers, had sent Ranveer three meeting invitations before issuing the directive. The actor's team received no advance and claims the film lacked a locked script even years after development began.
