Durgapur Steel Plant to get second unit with likely investment of ₹35,000 crore
Set to be made with a likely investment of ₹35,000 crore, the proposed mega project is expected to mark a milestone in the city's industrial journey.
The Public Service Commission, West Bengal (PSCWB) has released a recruitment notification to fill 957 vacancies for the posts of Sub-Inspector in the Subordinate Food & Supplies Service (Grade-III) under Food and Supplies Department, Government of West Bengal, 2018. The application process will start from tomorrow.
The candidates will need to apply online on the official website of the Commission, http://pscwbapplication.in/ once the application process starts.

- Candidate must have passed the Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
- Candidate should be capable of reading, writing and speaking in Bengali, this is not required for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali.
The applicant must be between 18 to 40 years.
The selected candidates will be eligible to receive a monthly pay of Rs 5400 – Rs 25200
The application fee for General/Obc candidates is Rs. 110. There is no fee for SC/ST candidates.
Exam pattern
The interested candidates will have to give a written test (MCQ type).
The candidates who get selected in the MCQ will then be called for Personality Test.
