A 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her uncle in Budhana area here, police said on Thursday.
According to a complaint lodged by the girl’s father, she was raped by her 21-year-old uncle yesterday, Circle Officer Hariram said.

The accused lured her from her house and took her to a nearby place, the CO said.

The victim was sent for medical examination, he said.

The order came after a complaint in this regard was lodged Vikas Tyagi, former provincial coordinator of Bajrang Dal.
Officials informed on Monday that Jaunpur Police managed to solve the case within 14 hours of the recovery of the body.
