Anand Ahuja to accompany Sonam Kapoor to Cannes?

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja exchanged vows on Tuesday (May 8) and now the actress is all set to return to her work commitments.

Sonam Kapoor is all set to head to prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where she will walk the red carpet as the brand ambassador. Sonam will be completing eight years at Cannes and will be there on May 14 and 15.

If the reports of Deccan Chronicle are to be believed, the latest buzz is that her husband Anand Ahuja will join Sonam for the two-day event.

A source informed Deccan Chronicle, “Cannes was a commitment made well in advance. And she couldn’t wriggle out of it. The only solution was for Anand to accompany her for an impromptu honeymoon. Though a final decision on this flash-honeymoon will be taken later, it is learnt that Anand has given his consent to accompany his wife to Cannes from where the newly-married couple may head to another part of France for a brief vacation.”

Sonam Kapoor will be walking the ramp with Mahira Khan. In the tweets exchanged between the two, Sonam Kapoor revealed that she can’t wait to hang out with Mahira.

On Saturday (May 12), Anand shared a picture with wife Sonam Kapoor on his Instagram story in which Sonam is donned in a purple sari while Anand looks dapper in all suit-up.
