Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception was a star-studded event which was held on Tuesday night (May 8). Sonam and Anand’s wedding celebrations have been a glamorous affair and they lived up to the #EverydayPhenomenal hashtag they created for the wedding. From mehendi to reception, everything has been gorgeously traditional.

The wedding reception saw many tinsel town celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rekha, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others.

The main highlight of the ceremony was the dance performances given by the b-town celebrities. They dance their heart out with the couple and Kapoor clan.

Sonam Kapoor’s father Anil Kapoor danced away with much vigour with Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan made an entry late but kept the night happening. The gala night went till 2 A.M.

Karan Johar took the stage and grooved on the song Shava Shava and Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, the crowd couldn’t resist themselves from cheering the filmmaker Karan Johar.

Father of the bride Anil Kapoor set the house on fire with his dance moves on his song all-time hit My name is Lakhan. Later, he was joined on stage by nephew Arjun and they danced to Tune maari entriyaan.

Salman jammed away with Mika on stage on his hit song Tan tanaa tan, Mujhse shaadi karogi, Aaj ki party meri taraf se, and had Shah Rukh, Anil and Varun Dhawan matching his steps.

The newlyweds Sonam and Anand looked totally in love as they danced together. The couple was also seen cutting the cake.

Sonam will be back working in no time as she is due to walk the Cannes Film Festival red carpet on May 14 and May 15 as L’Oreal Paris ambassador. And her film Veere Di Wedding is all set to release on June 1, 2019.
