Bollywood’s Kapoor household is celebrating again, and this time the joy has doubled. The family just got bigger, louder, and even more emotional after Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed their second baby boy. And guess who couldn’t hold back his feelings? Proud granddad Anil Kapoor, who posted a heart-melting note that instantly grabbed attention.

Anil Kapoor’s emotional nana moment

The veteran actor shared his happiness on social media, sounding every bit the proud “Nana.” He wrote that his heart has grown even bigger with the baby’s arrival and that the little one is already deeply loved.

He also thanked Sonam and Anand, saying his heart is full and welcoming the newborn into “a lifetime of love.”

Anil didn’t forget to mention the couple’s first child, Vayu Ahuja. He said he is sure the toddler will happily step into his new role as a loving big brother.

Sonam also shared her own joyful update on Instagram. She called the moment a beautiful milestone for their growing family. According to her, little Vayu is excited and ready to welcome the new baby.

From 2018 wedding to growing family

Sonam and Anand tied the knot in 2018 in a grand Mumbai wedding that became one of the most talked-about celebrity events. The couple welcomed their first son, Vayu, in August 2022.

In November 2025, they revealed they were expecting again. Now, with the arrival of their second baby boy, the family has officially expanded.
