Jashodaben, wife of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was injured and her relative was killed on Wednesday when their car rammed into a truck in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh.
According to media reports, Jashodaben has suffered minor injuries in the accident.

While four other people, who were travelling with her, were also injured, said SHO Parsoli Shyam Singh.

The deceased was identified as Basant Bhai Modi (67), a relative of Jashodaben, who died while undergoing treatment, the police said.
The grey coloured Innova SUV (GJ02CA4297) involved in the accident is registered in the name of Jashodaben’s younger brother (Pravin Kumar Modi).
As per reports, Jashodaben and the injured have been taken to a hospital in Chittorgarh.
The accident took place in Parsoli Police Station area when Jashodaben and others were travelling to Chittorgarh after attending a function in Kota, police said.
