Two militants killed in Kashmir during gunfight with security forces

Security forces on Monday killed two militants in a Gunfight during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The deaths were reported in Rajwar area, according to the police officials.

Earlier, security forces began search operations in Kupwara and Bandipora districts.

The forces surrounded Mir Mohalla village in Bandipora and Rangwar in Kupwara after receiving information about the presence of militants.

“At both these places, searches are going on. So far, there has been no confirmation about the presence of militants,” the police had said in a statement.
