Jammu and Kashmir: Army’s rescue operation in flood-hit Rajouri saves 11 civilians
Among the 11 rescued persons, five were children. They were stranded at different places in the flood-affected district following incessant rainfall.

An NSCN(K) cadre was killed and a soldier injured in an operation by special forces on Monday along the India-Myanmar border in Arunachal Pradesh, Indian Army sources said.
An AK-56 assault rifle and 200 rounds of ammunition were seized during the operation against the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) militants in Longding district.

The operation began in the morning and was still continuing, the sources said, adding that it was not a cross-border strike by the armed forces.
