Railway, in his house in Pursuwakam for, it is said, having shot and wounded Ponnambalam Devar, an Indian doctor, Raja Moodelliar and Chelliah. The other two were only very slightly wounded, receiving about three or four pellets each. The weapon was loaded in both barrels when taken by the Police, who also recovered empty cartridge cases. It is reported that Mann alleged that on another occasion he was molested, and he had already reported the matter to the Police. Mann has 26 years service in Perambore workshops, having worked there from a boy.
