Delhi witnesses strong surface winds, rain at several places
Several parts in the city also witnessed rain with the strong winds, the regional meteorological centre said in its bulletin.
It was a cloudy Wednesday morning in the national capital here with the minimum temperature recorded at 29.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, the weather office said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 am was 72 per cent and the city received 1.0 mm of rain since Tuesday.

"The sky will remain generally cloudy. There is very little possibility of rain. Rains may occur tomorrow (on Thursday) between afternoon and evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature settled at 36.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season, while the minimum was recorded at 28.3 degrees Celsius, one notch above average.
