A 23-year-old Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Uttar Pradesh lost her life after she was hit by a shooting stone on her way to the shrine in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said Sunday.

Agra resident Ashiki Bidya, along with her husband and other family members, was trekking from Katra to the shrine when a stone came rolling down a hillock and hit her, said an official. The incident took place at Himkoti near Bhawan Saturday.
