‘Turned down repeated offers to visit paedophile island’ : Elon Musk refutes Epstein files claims

Key figures and renowned personalities were exposed on Friday (US time) by members of the House Oversight Committee for having ties with Jeffrey Epstein.

Among the most prominent names in the newly released documents were tech magnates Elon Musk and Bill Gates.

The documents indicate that Musk was once scheduled to visit Epstein’s private island, though there is no confirmation that he actually went.

Notably, these striking revelations come months after the ex-DOGE leader alleged that US President Donald Trump was named in the Epstein files, attributing it as the reason behind not releasing the documents for public.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee posted the redacted documents on Friday on the official social media account on X.

“They show meetings with Steve Bannon, Peter Thiel, and a potential visit to Epstein’s island for Elon Musk. Prince Andrew is listed as a passenger on Epstein’s jet,” they wrote alongside the pages.

According to the documents, the Tesla boss was scheduled to travel to Epstein’s island on December 6, 2014. However, it does not confirm Musk’s arrival at the location, with a note against the mention reading, “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)”

Elon Musk responds to Epstein link allegations

As per media reports, billionaire Musk told the New York Post on Friday that he never went to Epstein’s island.

Taking to social media, he dismissed the claims against him. Responding to a post referring to a Forbes report titled “Elon Musk Planned Trip To Epstein’s Private Island, Newly Released Documents Show,” the Tesla boss commented, “This is false.”

Back in 2019, the world’s richest man told Vanity Fair that although he had been to Epstein’s New York City mansion, he had repeatedly refused offers to visit the late financier’s so-called “paedophile island.”
