Elon Musk’s Tesla will open its second Indian showroom in Delhi on August 11, less than a month after debuting in Mumbai. The new Tesla Experience Centre will be located at Aerocity’s upscale Worldmark 3 complex, serving customers across the National Capital Region — a crucial market in India’s electric mobility drive.

The announcement was made on Tesla’s official X handle, accompanied by a sleek teaser graphic stating, “Arriving in Delhi – stay tuned.”

Tesla’s Delhi expansion follows the July launch of its first showroom at Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai, alongside its inaugural charging station at the city’s Bandra-Kurla Complex. The EV maker officially entered India last month with the launch of its Model Y SUV, offered in two variants — the Rear-Wheel Drive at ₹60 lakh and the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive at ₹68 lakh, with the optional Full Self-Driving package costing an additional ₹6 lakh. Deliveries are slated to begin in the third quarter of 2025.

Currently, the Model Y is Tesla’s sole offering in India. Its entry marks a significant milestone for the world’s third-largest auto market, combining global EV innovation with growing domestic demand for sustainable mobility.
