The law enforcement agencies on Saturday foiled a major terror bid planned for Easter in Lahore city of Pakistan, a statement said.
Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in which one militant was killed and a woman arrested, The News International cited the Inter-Services Public Relations statement as saying.

Four soldiers sustained injuries during the operation, it said.

Suicide jackets and explosive material were recovered from the terrorists.
Easter, which always falls on Sunday, is the day when Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Last year on Easter, 72 persons were killed in a suicide blast in Lahore's Gulshan-e-Iqbal park.
