A female cop was seriously injured when an attacker grabbed her gun and shot her at a subway station in a Munich suburb, media reports said on Tuesday. Several others were injured in the incident.
According to Munich Police, the policewoman's injuries were serious while the assailant, who also received injuries was in custody.
The shooting occurred during a morning police check at the Unterfoehring subway station, Munich Police spokesman Michael Riehlein was quoted as saying by a news agency.

Munich's Merkur newspaper reported that witnesses said the suspect took a police officer's pistol and shot her, and also injured others at the scene.
