After the world witnessed the camaraderie among three leaders — Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Russian President Vladimir Putin — at the SCO Summit in China, the development is being seen as part of a new Asia-dominated world order. Even the US media has acknowledged the bonhomie among the leaders.

CNN host Van Jones said, “That image of Xi with Putin and Modi should send a chill down the spine of every American. The West is now in a box. It is everybody against us. This is a dagger aimed at the heart of the West.”

He said that it is a new world order, they call it a multipolar world. He stated that he would call it ‘The West is now in a box’.

“It was the United States and China together and Russia by itself. Now we’re on the bad end of the triangle. It’s everybody against us. That is not good for America,” he said.

According to the Washington Post, US analysts have labelled the gathering of four nations as an anti-American “axis of upheaval” – Iran, North Korea, China, and Russia.

The New York Times, in an article, noted that the leaders of India, China and Russia’s bonhomie at the event reflected a close bond between them. It added that the trio signalled an alternative world order challenging the United States.

“The leaders of China, Russia and India, the three largest powers not aligned with the West, smiling and laughing like good friends as they greeted each other at a summit on Monday,” the article stated.

The article further said that the tableau carried multiple messages, analysts said.

PM Modi sought to show that India has other important friends — including China, regardless of an unresolved border dispute — if the Trump administration chooses to continue alienating New Delhi with tariffs, it stated.

PM Modi, Putin, Xi share a moment at SCO Summit

PM Modi, Putin, and Xi had shared laughter and camaraderie during the SCO Summit in Tianjin, China on Monday, sending a clear message to US President Donald Trump about the rise of a new world order amid his “bullying” behaviour.

Viral videos from the summit had shown PM Modi, President Xi Jinping, and President Vladimir Putin showcasing bonhomie as they shook hands, embraced, and shared candid moments.

This came as the criticism against New Delhi from the US for its purchase of Russian oil from Moscow is building up.

Leaders’ show of unity draws sharp reaction from American leaders

Earlier, White House Trade Advisor and top aide to US President Donald Trump, Peter Navarro has reacted sharply to PM  Modi’s SCO Summit bonhomie with Chinese President Xi and Russian’s Putin.

Navarro had said that it was a “shame” to see Modi, the leader of the world’s biggest democracy, “getting in bed” with Xi and Putin, the two “biggest authoritarians”.

While on Wednesday, as the leaders of North Korea, Russia, and China had gathered in Beijing for a military parade, US President Donald Trump had launched a barb, alleging they had united to conspire against the United States—while sarcastically extending his “warmest regards” to them

On Truth Social, Trump had  said, “May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration.” He added, “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against the United States of America.”

According to media reports, Russian foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov had told state television on Wednesday that no one was plotting any conspiracies or anything. “Moreover, no one even had such a thought,” he had said.
