‘I do not fear death’: Sheikh Hasina says she will return to Bangladesh ‘this year’
Hasina said that the death penalty awarded to her in Bangladesh is a result of an "illegal, unconstitutional, and politically motivated process."
At least 10 members of a wedding party were dead after a boat they were travelling in capsized in Bangladesh’s Sunamganj district, according to police on Wednesday.
The boat capsized in the wetland, known as Kaliakutha haor, late on Tuesday. It carried onboard dozens of wedding party guests and overturned under inclement weather, Xinhua news agency reported.

Bodies of four victims were recovered late on Tuesday night, while the six others were found on Wednesday morning.
