Spotify, one of the world’s biggest music streaming platform, is now available in India. It began its services in India after the Bombay High Court denied an injunction filed by Warner Music company over licensing rights.

The free application is available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. It is also available for desktop download, for both Windows and MacOS. The Swedish firm will now be competing with music streaming services like Gaana, JioSaavn, Amazon Music, Wynk and Apple Music.

The free version of Spotify offers limited access to content, covering regional music, Bollywood and International Music for now. International restrictions on free tier- on services like limited song skips and no individual song selection do not apply to India currently, though they may change later.
