The phone has powerful 3,800mAh battery, which charges fast and easily lasts whole day on average to above average usage.

Samsung Galaxy A9 review: Korean tech giant Samsung is known for doing a lot of innovations with its smartphones. This time, with the launch of A9, they have introduced four rear cameras in the phone. Priced at Rs 33,990 (6GB RAM / 128GB), the Samsung Galaxy A9 is said to be the first rear camera phone in India. Big question: Will this quad-camera system phone attract buyers in India? What else makes this phone stand out in this segment or give tough competition to its competitors. Of course, there are several things like its display, design and decent battery backup can impress anyone. However, its only let down can be its price, which is slightly high.

Cameras

Since it is a camera-centric phone, let’s begin with the camera. The Galaxy A9 has set-up a 24MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP 120-degree ultra wideangle lens with f/2.4 aperture, a 10MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 5MP depth sensor. Its front has a 24MP selfie snapper. With all these camera features, the phone looks quite heavy on the camera front. So how does it perform? Quite well. The pictures captured in good sunlight are very bright and sharp, even when zoomed. The other camera features are like added benefits. In low light, the camera works fast and even the pictures are quite satisfactory.

In terms of design, the phone looks quite similar to Galaxy A7, looks premium in aluminum frame. It fits well in hand.

In the rear of the phone, the centre has a fingerprint scanner and above is the Samsung logo. Its fingerprint sensor is very responsive and fast. The Galaxy A9 follows the trend set by Samsung of not including a notched display in a smartphone.

The power button and volume rocker is found on the right edge while Bixby
button is on the left edge. On the top edge one can find hybrid SIM Slot and microSD card slot and at the bottom is the charging pot, headphone jack and a mono-speaer.

The display is one of the best features of the phone. It is equipped with
a 6.3-inch Super Amoled display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 2280×1080 resolution. It has bright and sharp display. One won’t have any problem using it even in bright sunny day.

Specification

Galaxy A9 has an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor is clocked at 2.2GHz and comes coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It terms of performance, the phone handles daily task very well without any glitches. It faces some problem while using heavy games.
