The man identified as Riyas Aboobacker or Abu Dujana, a resident of Palakkad, was picked up on Sunday in connection with the Kasaragod ISIS module case in the South Indian state.
Late on Friday, the Karnataka Police reportedly received an input about major terror attacks planned in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Puducherry, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Police said they found an ISIS flag and uniforms similar to those worn by the eight fighters for the video before they launched the attacks.
