In this context, a state-level brainstorming session was organized on Friday, under the aegis of the Department of Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and the Department of Technical Education.
Addressing the closing ceremony of the Viksit Bharat Youth Leadership Dialogue and Drug-Free India Campaign at Sardar Patel University, Mandi, in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday, he said that youth were central to fulfilling the national resolve of Viksit Bharat.
The accused, identified as Muniyandi, hailing from the same locality, had been arrested, police said.
The event will be inaugurated by Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh, along with Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Jayant Chaudhary and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Highlighting past challenges, the Chief Minister noted that before 2017, the state lagged in both higher education and rural development.
Under the agreement, signed in Tokyo by the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS), 500 candidates will be trained and placed in Japan in the first year, with the target increasing to 5,000 over the next five years.
The mega event will provide lakhs of youth in Uttar Pradesh with direct access to industries, opening vast avenues of jobs and employment while marking a milestone in the state’s employment and skill revolution, officials here on Monday said.
The incident took place in Narni village, under the Maholi police station area.
