The Election Commission continues sweeping administrative changes in Bengal, shifting senior police officers and officials as part of its effort to tighten oversight ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
The Commission has sent a fresh communication to the state secretariat, setting February 17 as the deadline for registering FIRs against these electoral officers and complying with its orders.
SSP Pune Rural, Sandeep Singh Gill, today stated that investigation to date revealed that the victim's argument with two individuals led to this incident. The two suspects, who appear to be involved, are currently being traced by the police.
