A four-day tri-service multi-domain exercise, organized under the aegis of Northern Command to sharpen India’s preparedness for future warfare, has recently concluded.

The Cheif of Defence Staff also stressed the need to be 'Shashastra' (well-armed), 'Suraksit' (secure) and 'Aatmanirbhar' (self-reliant).
The first edition of the seminar is being organised by Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff and Centre for Joint Warfare Studies, in conjunction with the Army Training Command.
The two-day seminar slated to be held from August 26, will see a series of seminars pertaining to transformations taking place in war, warfare and warfighting on global level.
In a first, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, who is also the Secretary of the Department of Military Affairs, released the declassified versions of the Joint Doctrines for Cyberspace Operations and Amphibious Operations during the Chiefs of Staff Committee meeting held here on Thursday.
Asserting that it was time that defence forces should understand both 'Shastra' (warfare) and 'Shaastra' (knowledge), Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan said the forces are ready for any action as the Operation Sindoor was still ongoing.
