Denouncing the objections raised by All India Muslim Jamaat President Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi to Holi celebrations by Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami’s daughter, Madhya Pradesh Sports Minister Vishwas Sarang has written to Shami asking him and his daughter not to be cowed down by ‘fundamentalists’ and ‘extremists’.
Sarang, who is the Medical Education Minister, is also credited with making Madhya Pradesh the first state in India to successfully introduce MBBS studies in Hindi too in all government medical colleges.
Madhya Pradesh is first state to start MBBS course in Hindi. Initially, three subjects have been selected to be studied in Hindi.
