Adani Power Ltd on Saturday said it has won a tightly-contested bid to supply 1500 MW (net) of thermal power to Uttar Pradesh.
In 2022-23, UPPCL's revenue collection was Rs 59,635 crore, which increased by 17.63% to Rs 70,153 crore in 2023-24. Additionally, in 2023-24, the number of electricity connections in the state reached approximately Rs 3.46 crore, with a total load of 73,835 MW.
It is noteworthy that Jawaharpur Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd., which is a 100 per cent subsidiary of UP Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd., is constructing this project.
