Recalling his recent entry in JDU, Lallan Singh categorically said: “Nobody was interested in joining him again in the party because of his habit of changing sides.”
In the press meet, Khushwaha announced that his newly-floated party called Rashtria Lok Janata Dal (RLJD). He has been unanimously nominated as the national president of the new party.

This comes amid speculation about Kushwaha 'being in touch' with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
While the RJD has declared it will go to polls under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav, his other two allies, Jitan Ram Manjhi and Upendra Kushwaha too nurse high political ambitions and have rejected the candidature of the former, thus making the battle interesting well ahead of the polls.
Meanwhile, the part of ruling alliance Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJP) chief Chirag Paswan too held a meeting with the state working committee members via video conferencing in the run-up to the elections, to look into the preparations of the party.
Darbhanga, Begusarai, Ujiyarpur, Munger & Samastipur are held by the NDA, first three by BJP and the last two by LJP
A disastrous or poor performance in the elections will, thus, obviously ruin their career and deny them the bargaining capacity in the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled next year.
His comments come in the wake of the resentment expressed by BJP ally Apna Patel in Uttar Pradesh and RLSP pulling out of NDA in Bihar.
