City police lens on errant drivers on roads

The police have requested the drivers not to use cellphones while driving, but it yielded lukewarm response. Once caught, the errant driver will have to pay the fine. Drivers particularly those on two wheelers are found to violate the stop line in such cases a fine of Rs 500 will be imposed for the first time and it will go up to Rs 1,500 subsequently.
