On the question of TMC's merger with the Congress, Roy didn't rule out the possibility and suggested both options - a merger and alliance - are on the table.
The list includes some of the closest aides of TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee and fiercest critics of the BJP-led regime.
Ghosh is believed to have reached out to Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and pledged her support to the rebel camp.

Earlier today, the rebel TMC MPs held a meeting with West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari at the residence of Union Minister and BJP's Bengal in-charge Bhupender Yadav.
Reports suggested that the MPs are exploring two options - merge with the BJP or tender mass resignations.
Kabir said that he is ready to resign and ensure Mamata Banerjee is elected from Rejinagar.
West Bengal Assembly Speaker Rathindra Bose has reportedly accepted the letter and a decision is likely to be taken by 4 pm today.
