Bharti Group Chairman Sunil Mittal on Thursday said that sectors such as healthcare, education, deep research and medical sciences are set to grow rapidly with the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The PM also highlighted the recent announcement by the US tech giant Google to manufacture its flagship Pixel phones in India.
The taxes on this industry remain high. For every Rs 100 of revenue, Rs 35 go in various forms of levies. We hope that as we step up and do our part, the government will also favourably look at some of the genuine demands of the industry enabling a multiplier effect and positive outcome,"
"The industry requires long overdue support to maintain its current 3+1 industry structure and allow players to earn a respectable return on their investments," Mittal said.
