Despite overcast sky in several towns, including the state capital, causing marked rise in the minimum temperatures, light drizzle to moderate downpour coupled with thick fog intensified winter chill in most of the major cities.
Three labourers, two of them women, were killed and at least five others were seriously injured when the wall of an under-construction building, where they were working, collapsed in Bharja village near Pindwara town in Sirohi district of Rajasthan on Monday.
An Independent MLA and chief minister's advisor Sanyam Lodha recounted the incident in the assembly and blamed it on the negligence of the Health Department.
