Government names ex–Prasar Bharati chief Shashi Shekhar Vempati as CBFC head, succeeding Prasoon Joshi

The Government of India has appointed Shashi Shekhar Vempati as the new Chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification for a three-year term.
